This is a lovely kokeshi, it is one of my favorites!
She is wearing a vibrant and colorful kimono. Many of the details on this kokeshi doll were burned into the wood for added interest.
Doll was designed by a most respected and highly honored kokeshi doll artist - Kazuo Takamizawa - who has won numerous top awards in Japan for his beautiful kokeshi creations.
This kokeshi doll is definitely a gorgeous piece! Very Unique! Hard to find!
